WRU to consider stadium alcohol ban

RUGBY fans could be stopped from buying alcohol during matches at the Millennium Stadium.

Bosses at the Cardiff venue are reviewing their policy following complaints from fans who said their view was being obstructed by people going to the bar, and then the toilets.

When the stadium opened nine years ago, no alcohol was sold during matches.

General manager Gerry Toms said any decision by the Welsh Rugby Union should be in place for the Six Nations tournament in February.
